If multiple iOS devices are using the same WD account and have Auto Backup enabled the Remove Duplicates feature will be triggered separately on each iOS phone. The Manage Duplicates notice will not appear again unless there are duplicates in the Auto Backup folders. A single copy of the content will be kept in the current mobile app auto backup folder after duplicate content is removed. Duplicate files that are removed are permanently deleted, and cannot be restored. A duplicate file is determined by having the same metadata such as file size and file name. Renaming or a renamed folder from Camera Roll Backup to any other name that does not include the words above will not trigger the notification. At least two Auto Backup folders with the name containing Camera Roll Backup, Roll, Camera, or Backup is required for Manage Duplicates notification to appear. Choose whether or not you want Windows to handle everything.
